Kapari or Claude?

You already use Claude or ChatGPT, and you wonder what Kapari adds. Here is a straight answer, with a real case.

iSimulated reactions to inform a decision, never a poll or a prediction.
To be fair

What Claude and ChatGPT do well

Ask them to play ten unhappy customers: they will, and often well. They play devil's advocate when you ask. They keep a memory of your projects from one conversation to the next. To brainstorm, draft or summarize, they are more flexible than Kapari.

Three differences

What Kapari adds

Profiles grounded before they are written

For every decision, Kapari builds its profiles from your context, from its library of 543 sourced profile types when the topic is covered, from research in psychology and the social sciences, and from public statistics. The results page tells you how many profiles came from the library. Claude and ChatGPT write their characters at the moment you ask for them.

A computed conclusion

The model writes what the profiles say. The conclusion comes from a fixed, published rule. If you think leadership matters more than the staff, you change its weight and the conclusion recomputes in front of you. If you run the simulation again, the wording changes; Kapari then checks whether the conclusion holds and shows you.

Public grades

Kapari replayed 100 real decisions from the past without knowing how they ended. On average, it caught 77% of the objections raised at the time. An automated judge compares its answers with the 421 objections found in dated articles. The worst grade is published with the rest: 13%.

A real case

An Austin fintech calls its staff back to the office

A 120-person Austin fintech, fully remote since 2020, calls everyone within 50 miles back to the office three days a week. The company is made up; the simulation is real. Kapari returned:

47 profiles, 8 segments

17 of them tied to a profile type from the library; the others were built for this decision.

A conclusion

Adjust, there are objections to defuse.

A sticking point

Remote-hired employees, who doubt the plan can be carried out.

A check

Run three times, the simulation reached the same conclusion each time.

Try it yourself: ask Claude the same question, then compare the two answers.

i

Kapari builds a panel of simulated profiles and explores their reactions, to help you decide before you announce. Nobody is surveyed, nothing is predicted, and these profiles measure no real population. Our limits are documented, case by case, in the published exam.

Our advice

Keep Claude for writing and exploring. Run the idea or decision you are about to present through Kapari first.
